Girl Gang Goals: The Best Bonding Activities For Your Squad...
Has it been a while since you managed to catch up with your girl gang? I don't know about you, but every once in a while I need a day or night with my girls to have fun and let loose. If a reunion is long overdue and you’re planning something special, here's a quick list of some of the best ideas for bonding activities for you and your squad. *This post contains affiliate links.*
1. Wine tasting
If you enjoy a glass of wine or two and the sound of lush, rolling hills and quality time together sound appealing, why not book a trip to a vineyard and hone your wine tasting skills? You can make a weekend of it and stay on-site, you could hire a house or a condo nearby, or you could just go for the day. This is an opportunity to sample local produce, catch up on what’s been going on and enjoy the country life.
2. Fun on the water
If you’ve chosen a waterfront base for your reunion, there are all kinds of fun options on offer. You could charter a boat for the day from a company like Prime Luxury Rentals, you could take a surfing class, you could try water skiing, or you could just simply grab some towels and hit the beach. If the sun is shining, there’s no better place to be!
3. Retail therapy
If you and your friends love the idea of channelling SJP and shopping up a storm, why not set aside a day to hit the stores and treat yourselves? You could go the whole SATC hog and enjoy some cocktails and a fancy dinner to round the day off in style. (Note: I approve this message!)
4. Spa break
Are your hectic schedules to blame for going weeks or months without seeing each other? If so, perhaps a spa break could be just the tonic you need. The spa is a treat that I think everyone in your crew would appreciate! Going to a spa enables you to chill out, enjoy a bit of pampering and recharge your batteries. Umm, who doesn't love that? You could book treatments, such as massages and facials, and make use of facilities like a swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room.Mimosas anyone?!
5. Mini break
If you love to travel, but you don’t get away as much as you’d like to, why not get together and find a weekend when you can jet off for a couple of days? City breaks are a fantastic opportunity to see the sights, make new memories, explore more of the world and experience different cultures. You don’t necessarily have to leave the country, but why not visit a location none of you have been to before? If you're in the PA-NY-NJ area, I'd suggest a cute weekend in a cabin at the Poconos. If you’re really interested in planning a mini break, reach out to your girls, throw some dates around, get an idea of where people want to go and create a shortlist. Take it to a vote and when you’ve got your destination, start looking at flights and accommodation. When you’ve got a group, it’s often cheaper and more fun to get an apartment, villa or townhouse, rather than booking a bunch of hotel rooms.
I know that this holiday season has everyone feeling like life is pretty hectic right now. Are you hoping to see more of your friends in the New Year? If so, why not start planning a reunion now? Hopefully, these ideas have given you some inspiration, and you can organize a brilliant bonding session with your besties! Happy Holidays lovelies! See You next year xoxo...
