I like to think of Miami as the paradise of the United States. Being the east coast girl that I am – I don’t have easy access to tropical like weather, white sands and crystal blue waters. Since I’ve been working tirelessly promoting my debut self-published novel Dilemmas Of a Damsel, I’ve put any major travel plans on hold. Lord knows that I would love to have my toes in the sand while listening to the waves and sipping a huge strawberry margarita.(Sacrifices people, sacrifices!) As soon as we touched down, we were eager to soak in the city and everything it had to offer. And let me tell you – it was a trip to remember!

When I was younger, I always imagined coming to this place. It was something about the great weather, beautiful homes, and just being in close proximity with the rich and famous that always appealed to me. As I got older, I guess I became an adult at some point and punked out (life happens). Continue Reading
